What attracted you to apply for the Aboriginal Pathway to the GRADS?
I was heading towards the end of my university studies with very little career direction and saw the Aboriginal Pathway as a great way to kick start my professional career.
What do/ did you enjoy about the graduate program?
I have enjoyed meeting new people, gaining valuable experience within a professional environment and the making long-lasting friendships.
How did entering the GRADS via the Aboriginal Pathway help you?
It was invaluable. The Aboriginal Pathway helped me with getting an ongoing full time position which in this job climate is very rare. The Pathway helped connect me with a network of like-minded individuals that have pushed me to develop and reach my potential.
What kind of impact has the GRADS and the Aboriginal Pathway had on your life and career?
The Pathway has given me a sense of family and belonging. The networks and friendships made will be with me for a very long time. It has allowed me to live my life in a way I was not use to with a regular salary and the freedom to develop and learn at my own pace.
